For some reason, we didnt eat a lot of carrots last week, and with another veg delivery arriving I found myself with an absolute glut of carrots. Most peoples first thoughts might have been "what can I make with all these carrots?".....not me, my first thoughts were "I need somewhere pretty to keep all my carrots!".....hence, the carrot bag.
I also had a couple of secret santa gifts to make aswell. I decided on books with embroidered book markers, inspired by Amanda Blake Soule's book markers from her book Handmade Home.
Ive also made a little gift for our good friends daughter who will be 6 on Saturday. Its a little hanging picture for her bedroom door that says "Knock 5 times if you believe in Fairies".
I'm thinking about opening up an etsy shop to sell some crafty bits, I often get asked to sew stuff, so I might as well give it a go.... will keep you posted.
